Anton Vell is a writer who once stopped writing. Then, years later, he discovered that the stories had never really left.

There was a time when writing occupied a large part of his life. He wrote constantly — short stories, longer works, fragments, scenes, and thoughts that might someday have become books.

Then came silence.

Not for a few weeks. Not even for a year.

For nearly a decade.

Life had changed by then. Work, family, children, responsibility, moving, and the endless practical business of being an adult had filled the space where literature once lived. Anton did not plan a return to writing.

Perhaps that is precisely why it returned.

Not as a decision to begin a literary career again. Not as a promise to write another book.

At first, there was simply one story.

Then another.

And another.

Before long, something became clear: the years of silence had not erased the writer.

They had given him material.
